Gratitude is a direct pathway to love.
It lights up the truth within each opportunity, each experience,
each moment,
to be seen through the eyes of wisdom within.
Gratitude, for a lesson hard-won.
For the courage to BE.
For the kindness of saying yes or no through the
voice of your own truth.
Find gratitude in each moment,
for when you do, the whole world opens up,
attachment releases,
and the desire to hold on to the shell of the experience you once clung to is freed by gratitude when you find the truth within.
Gratitude is the light that takes you cave diving into the sweet center of the earth to reveal the gems of wisdom and love in us all.
Keep those gems, and let go of the rest. You do not need a whole suitcase to carry the handful of precious stones you have found.
Gratitude is not weak. It is perhaps the most courageous act of all.
For to find gratitude in others and gratitude in ourselves is
heroic at times indeed.
But you need not go to battle,
simply invite gratitude to be by your side.
It is a willing helper and will never leave you
no matter how much you try to cast it away.
If it is lost, to reclaim it all you must do is simply say thank you.
Say it from your heart.
And if you cannot yet say it from your heart, speak it from your mind and your heart will hear,
as the heart will not leave you either.
Let gratitude be a spell that shines on others, shines on yourself, and illuminates each moment, each breath.
I see you. I love you. I don’t even need to know you,
for what I know within you is the truth of gratitude within us all.
